Performance Training in Loveland, OH

Train Hard. Stay Strong. Keep Going.

Pain-free is a start — but it's not the finish line. August Performance PT's training programs are built by a DPT and CSCS to push your performance forward, reduce re-injury risk, and keep you doing what you love for the long haul.

Training Without a Real Plan Is a Risk You Can't Afford

You're back, but you're not back to where you were

You finished rehab. The pain is gone. But your strength, power, and confidence aren't where they used to be — and you're not sure how to bridge that gap without getting hurt again.

A generic program isn't built for your body

Following a standard training template doesn't account for your injury history, your movement patterns, or the demands of your sport. That's how re-injuries happen.

Training harder without a smarter plan leads nowhere

Pushing intensity without the right structure leads to plateaus, compensations, and setbacks. You need progressive programming built around where you are right now.

Common Conditions We Treat

What Performance Training Addresses

Whether you're returning from injury or optimizing for your sport, training is built around the gaps, goals, and demands that matter most to you.

Return-to-Sport Progressions - Structured loading and movement progressions to safely rebuild capacity after injury or time off.

Strength and Power Development - Programs targeting force production, athletic output, and functional strength specific to your sport or training goals.

Injury Prevention and Prehab - Identify and address weak links before they become injuries — movement screening, asymmetry correction, and load management.

Jordan has been working with my son with stiffness and poor range of motion in his shoulder. This has affected his ability to pitch effectively and was prone to injury. Jordan works with him on a personalized plan geared towards his needs. Now my son’s range of motion has greatly improved and even his pitching coach has noted a big change. Highly recommend!!

Jordan was very professional and knowledgeable.  I was having hip pain and his exercises were very helpful. Much more than traditional PT does. He was focused on me and really listened to my goals and progress along the way.  I highly recommend trying Jordan for your PT needs.

As a college athlete, I couldn’t figure out what was wrong or why the pain in my achilles kept coming back. I really appreciate that Dr Jordan takes the time to figure out the root of the problem instead of only offering surface-level fixes like stretching or icing. He pays attention to how my body actually moves, and explains what’s really causing the pain. The treatment plan feels personalized, not generic, and I’ve noticed real improvement because of his focus on long term solutions rather than temporary relief. Highly recommend if you want a PT who digs deeper and actually helps you get better.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here's what athletes and active adults in Loveland typically ask before starting a performance training program.

Is this just personal training?

Not quite. Jordan holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy alongside his CSCS — so programming is always injury-aware, rooted in assessment, and built around your movement quality and physical therapy history. It's more targeted than a standard personal training relationship.

Do I need to have been a patient first?

No. You can come directly for performance training. That said, Jordan will always screen for movement issues and underlying limitations before building your program — so the starting point is always grounded in what your body actually needs.

What sports or activities do you work with?

Jordan has experience working with CrossFitters, runners, Olympic weightlifters, football and baseball players, and active adults with fitness-centered goals. If you train hard and want to stay healthy doing it, this program is built for you.

How often will we train together?

Frequency depends on your goals and schedule. After an initial assessment, Jordan will recommend a session structure and programming cadence that fits your life and drives real progress.

Can this work alongside my current training?

Yes. Programming can be layered on top of your existing training schedule or restructured to complement it — always with an eye on load management, recovery, and progression that keeps you healthy and moving forward.
