Meet Jordan August, DPT — Sports Physical Therapist in Loveland, OH

Built for Athletes. Designed to Get You All the Way Back.

Jordan August, DPT built August Performance PT because he kept seeing the same gap: athletes who finished PT but never actually got back to full performance. This practice exists to close that gap.

The Story Behind the Practice

After years in traditional PT settings, Jordan saw that athletes were being discharged as "better" while still short of their real goal, back in their sport, back in the gym, performing the way they wanted to. He started August Performance PT to deliver PT the way it was meant to be: one-on-one, root-cause, and built all the way through to performance.

The August Approach

What Drives Every Decision Here

Every part of how Jordan works the evaluation, the treatment, the programming is built around one idea: complete outcomes, not just pain relief.

Root-Cause, Not Symptom-Chasing

Jordan looks at the full picture movement, strength, history to find what's actually driving your problem.

One-on-One Every Session

You work directly with Jordan every visit. No aides, no hand-offs, no surprises.

Rehab Is Training

Sessions at Fitness 3K Gym are built around real movement, lifting, running, the demands of your sport.

All the Way to Performance

The plan doesn't end when pain goes away. It ends when you're back doing what you came here to do.

Your Provider

Meet Jordan August

One provider. Every session. That's the model.

Jordan August
Physical Therapist, Owner

Jordan graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in 2015. He has experience working with youth athletes all the way up to the professional level including UFC, NFL, MLB, and NCAA athletes, Cross fitters, Olympic weightlifters as well as active adults.

His treatment approach blends skilled manual therapy with strength & conditioning principles to bridge the gap between rehab and performance to get clients back doing what they love. He takes a full body approach and believes that is necessary in order to find the root cause of pain and build a treatment plan for longevity.

Over the years, he saw a gap in traditional physical therapy when it comes to care for athletes and adults with fitness related goals. As a result, he started August Performance Physical Therapy to make a bigger impact and deliver physical therapy services the way it was meant to be.

What Athletes Are Saying

Real results from athletes and active adults who came in limited and left performing.

I can’t thank Jordan enough for his incredible care and expertise! After knee and ankle injuries in high school, including a challenging recovery from ankle surgery, I wasn’t sure if I’d ever feel confident on the court again. He not only guided me through the physical recovery process but also helped rebuild my strength and confidence step by step. His personalized approach tailored to my sport and position, deep knowledge, and constant encouragement made all the difference. If you’re looking for a physical therapist who truly cares about their patients and delivers exceptional results, I highly recommend Jordan.

My personal trainer recommended Jordan after straining my hamstring and not being able to do leg day or run with my kids. From the start, he really listened to what I wanted to get back to and made a plan that actually worked for my life. The sessions were always the right mix of challenging and encouraging, and I noticed progress pretty quickly. Now I’m back to working out and running around with my kids pain-free! I’m so grateful for Jordan’s program.

I have great appreciation for Jordan’s ability to get a 62 year old worn out knee back to being able to play baseball again. I thought maybe it would be my time to hang it up. In a three month time frame. The work I did with Jordan has been amazing. Stiffness and pain are gone and strength is back to support running. Can’t express enough thanks for Jordan.

Jordan has worked with me for a few years now dealing with multiple injuries ranging from torn meniscus to torn labrum and I can’t thank him enough for the time he has put in to help me feel 100%! He has helped me appreciate the field of physical therapy and has helped me along the way of pursuing physical therapy school. Still to this day I ask him questions about physical therapy or any random pains im dealing with and how I can relieve these pain. If you’re looking for a physical therapist, I highly recommend Jordan! Thanks Jordan for everything!

I would give 10 stars if I could! I highly recommend Jordan August for anyone looking for Physical Therapy that is going to address the root cause of your pain/mobility. After seeing multiple chiropractors and physical therapists who only provided temporary relief/fixes, Jordan was the first to address the root causes of my hip and back issues. His approach is thorough, and he customizes treatments to my needs. He’s always happy to answer any questions I have about exercises or progress. I highly recommend August Performance Physical Therapy!

This isn't your normal cookie cutter PT program. Jordan did a great job analyzing root cause and developing a plan and path to recovery. Very knowledgeable. I will definitely come back next time I am in need

Jordan has been working with my son with stiffness and poor range of motion in his shoulder. This has affected his ability to pitch effectively and was prone to injury. Jordan works with him on a personalized plan geared towards his needs. Now my son’s range of motion has greatly improved and even his pitching coach has noted a big change. Highly recommend!!

I started with Dr. August due to a sports related elbow injury & wanted to see if there were options outside of surgery to help me continue to play sports. Jordan walked through the process of strengthening everything around the elbow and shoulder to help better support the injured area. 6 weeks later after staying diligent with the PT, I played 7 baseball games in 4 days with very minimal pain or discomfort!!! Not only does Dr. August personalize the plans for his clients, he makes the process very easy and effective for just about anyone’s schedule! 10/10 in my book and can’t thank Dr. August enough for putting the plan together to make playing the games I love possible with substantially less pain. I Would highly recommend talking with him about the different treatment/PT options he offers before committing to surgery or just masking with meds or injections! Thanks Dr. J, you saved my sports career!

I’ve been pretty active my entire life, running, hiking, biking, etc. but with each passing year my lower back and hips have been getting stiffer. I worked with Jordan to address these issues and develop a plan of exercises that I can execute to improve my flexibility and range of motion. Jordan listened and gave me the advice and support that I needed to stay active now and going forward. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to make some lasting changes.

Jordan helped me tremendously with the pain in my hip. He isolated the cause and worked with me over multiple weeks to help strengthen my hip and leg so that the pain went away.

Jordan was very professional and knowledgeable.  I was having hip pain and his exercises were very helpful. Much more than traditional PT does. He was focused on me and really listened to my goals and progress along the way.  I highly recommend trying Jordan for your PT needs.

I sought out PT due to some increasing discomfort in my lower back and legs. The pain wasn’t brought on by an acute injury and the discomfort was inconsistent. Jordan did the most thorough PT assessment I’ve ever had done and was able to pinpoint what was causing the issues. He put together a comprehensive treatment plan that progressed as treatment continued and I was easily able to incorporate it into what I was already doing in the gym. I’ve seen improvements both in the gym, on the soccer field and while riding. If you’re looking for a performance based PT, look no further!

As a college athlete, I couldn’t figure out what was wrong or why the pain in my achilles kept coming back. I really appreciate that Dr Jordan takes the time to figure out the root of the problem instead of only offering surface-level fixes like stretching or icing. He pays attention to how my body actually moves, and explains what’s really causing the pain. The treatment plan feels personalized, not generic, and I’ve noticed real improvement because of his focus on long term solutions rather than temporary relief. Highly recommend if you want a PT who digs deeper and actually helps you get better.

Dr. Jordan was very informative and detailed. I appreciated his detailed knowledge, and I am thrilled to say after a sessions and sticking with scheduled routine, my pain was handled and went away allowing me to return to regular fitness routine.

Dr. August offers a different environment than a typical physical therapy setting. He works one-one-one with his clients and has a measured approach for pt and keeping active while working through injuries or issues. I appreciate this approach.
Alissa Stedronsky
I see Jordan as part of managing my Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome. Because of my condition, my needs from PT change near daily. Having access to Jordan almost any time of day is critical for dealing with random pains, dislocations, and subluxations. This type of flexibility is just not possible in the current healthcare system. The attention I get as a patient is more valuable than I can truly put into words. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.
